Urban Art at the Danube Canal - An Intercultural Photowalk
KUNST HAUS WIEN is organising a photowalk along the Danube Canal as part of the "Langer Tag der Flucht". The focus is on the exchange with people from different cultures, the joy of conversation and the shared enthusiasm for photography. Everyone is welcome at the Photowalk, whether beginner, hobby photographer or professional!
Urban art and graffiti on the Danube Canal provide an exciting backdrop for portraits, spontaneous happenings or detailed shots of the artworks in connection with the surrounding nature. Under the guidance of photographer and art educator Lisa Zalud, participants will capture the hustle and bustle on the busy banks themselves. We photograph what comes in front of our lens!

Der "Lange Tag der Flucht"
The "Long Day of Refugees" was launched by UNHCR Austria in 2012 and has taken place every autumn since then. It started with 45 events in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. In recent years, the "Long Day of Flight" has continued to grow: in 2021, the 10th anniversary took place.
On this day, Austrians, refugees and asylum seekers have the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn more about the "other" at workshops, readings, exhibitions, cinema screenings, discussions, etc. The "Long Day of Refugees" is also an opportunity to learn more about the "other".
