Hardly any other material is as omnipresent in our everyday lives as plastic. Once considered a symbol of progress and modernity, it now poses an acute threat to our environment due to increasing overproduction - after all, plastic is very durable. With Plastic Matters, KunstHausWien proposes a change of perspective on how we deal with plastic: from waste product to valuable material. In the midst of the exhibition, we discuss the dangers of plastic production as well as possible courses of action for each and every one of us.
