FUZZY EARTH
the belly knows before the brain
Fuzzy Earth
the belly knows before the brain
With speculative design methods Fuzzy Earth (Tekla Gedeon & Sebastian Gschanes) examine the interrelationship between humans, nature and technology, probing into the regenerative cycles of the earth. Their exhibition follows the silent and ancient trail of phosphor – from its geopolitical conflictridden quarrying, its use as fertiliser in agriculture through to its current impact on our environment. They combine scientific methods and traditional knowledge of soils with art and design. An installation specially created for the KunstHausWien is to become a location for sharing thoughts and ideas on the relationship between humans and soil, compost and nutriments, decay and regeneration.
